Bailee just loves owls! I knew when I saw this set by Hero Arts at
Archiver's...we had to have them. They are just too darn cute!
I embossed the owls, cut them out, colored them with
prismacolor pencils, and attached them with
dimensionals. I used
SU! watercolor paper for the background. I inked up my
brayer with
baja breeze and covered the entire piece. Next I inked just the edge of the
brayer with pacific point and went over the top and bottom for depth. I took a damp sponge and blended the colors together. Lastly, I stamped little snowflakes in white craft ink.
Stamps: Hero Arts Owl Christmas from
Archiver'sPaper: Basic Grey
Figgy Pudding,
baja breeze,
SU! watercolor paper
Ink: Chocolate chip craft ink,
baja breeze, pacific point,
SU! white craft ink.
Accessories: clear embossing powder,
stickles, scallop edge punch, American craft ribbon,
prisma pencils,
brayer.
